When I reached the point of writing my doctoral dissertation at Trinity Theological Seminary, I chose to meld two fields of study in which I felt I had some expertise. I chose to combine the fields of medicine and theology to write on, what I believe to be, the greatest source of evidence for intelligent design which is found within man himself.

For more than 50 years, scientists have probed outer space in SETI (Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence). To date, not one single bit of evidence has been discovered.

The truth of the matter is: They have been looking in the wrong cosmos. The greatest source of evidence for intelligent design in not found in the outer cosmos, but in the micro-cosmos of man's anatomy and physiology.

When Jean, my wife for 50 years died, I desperately wanted to know all I could learn about Heaven, and I suddenly realized I knew very little about the subject. I plunged into an in-depth, prolonged bible study on heaven.

I was amazed at the abundance of information that is available in the Christian bible, but discovered that much of this information is veiled in the background of major biblical events and is easily overlooked.

The information I obtained from my studies brought profound peace and comfort to my suffering soul. This information has deepened my faith and strengthened the glorious hope within me that someday I shall again see my beloved Jean, my mother, a brother, and so many, many other dear relatives and friends.

Having recently read the book, Glimpses of Heaven, by Dr. Cal Hunter, I have thanked God more than once that I was blessed with that opportunity. The message of this book opened my heart and gave me a new outlook on life. Reared by a Christian mother, I was taught from childhood to believe in Jesus and to know He was in Heaven, looking down to keep me safe.

Until now, my dreams of Heaven were of someday walking the streets of gold; however, now I realize that Heaven is a real place, a place for perfect life in the ever after. Dr. Hunter applies Scripture as a means of proof that Heaven, Paradise, will be a place of beauty, of exquisite music, of love, of happiness, of praise in the awesome presence of God.

Though there will be no marriage in heaven, we will be known by and also will know our loved ones who have gone on before us. With that in mind, I can’t help feeling even closer now to my two wonderful husbands who are now awaiting me in Paradise.
